Communications Center

911 Public Safety Answering Point / Police, Fire & Rescue Communications Center receives and processes all emergency 9-1-1 calls for assistance, including fire, EMS, and police. Once sufficient information has been gathered, the call-taker must alert the appropriate response agencies, maintain communications, and log all pertinent information. Additionally, all staff must maintain nationally certified Emergency Medical Dispatch training which provides emergency medical instructions to callers, as well as Emergency Police Dispatch training.
